Becoming a Business Member at the Kate is a great way to market your business, see great
entertainment, and help the Kate continue to present exciting programs, arts education for

On average, 45,000 people pass through the doors of the Kate each year. That’s a lot of people and a lot of events for a 285-seat theater. But before patrons arrive at the Kate, they are out shopping, grabbing a bite to eat before the show, and taking in all that Old Saybrook and the surrounding areas have to offer.
The Kate is proud to have a positive impact on the community, not just by what we present on stage, but also by attracting people to town several nights a week. The recently published 5th edition of the Arts & Economic Prosperity Report released by Americans for the Arts showed that in Middlesex County, the average patron spends $33 in the local economy when attending an arts event. This is in addition to the ticket price. With 45,000 patrons each year, the Kate is potentially contributing over $1,400,000 to our local economy.
