Singer/songwriter Desmond Child brings his massive hits to THE KATE!  From Bon Jovi (“Livin’ On a Prayer”, “You Give Love a Bad Name”) to Aerosmith (“Dude Looks Like a Lady”), from Ricky Martin (“Livin’ La Vida Loca”) to Katy Perry (“Waking Up in Vegas”), Desmond rocks the house with his killer band, exceptional singers and his own unique vocals—known to many from his Desmond Child & Rouge days. After a critically acclaimed run at New York City’s Feinstein’s/54 Below, Desmond appears on THE KATE to share the music and stories from his genre-defying collaborations with artists including KISS (“I Was Made for Lovin’ You”), Michael Bolton (“How Can We Be Lovers”), Joan Jett (“I Hate Myself For Loving You”), Alice Cooper, Cyndi Lauper, Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, Hanson, Sia, Zedd and most recently, Barbra Streisand. This hit-maker’s songs have sold over 500 million records worldwide. Desmond Child was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2008 is Co-Founder & Chairman of the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, being of Latin descent. The evening is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, with musical direction by Bette Sussman.
