Where feasible and appropriate, features and furniture of the Hepburn Center will be identified with individual plaques or signage, i.e. moveable and balcony chairs, benches and piano. For items of an “area” or those not suitable for affixing a sign (lighting system, columns, endowment) the donor’s name will be included on a large commemorative sign to be placed on a clearly visible main wall in a yet to be defined area. This sign will be similar to the one in place in the connecting hall of the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme. The south wing will be identified with the name of the donor(s) inscribed on a wall of the addition. Every effort will be made to clearly identify the name of a donor, depending on the choice made.
