Vista’s A Shared Stage Productions, in partnership with The Kate, will present an all-abilities musical production of The Addams Family May 18, 19 and 20.

The show, Vista's fifth production, will feature an ensemble of performers from the shoreline theater community on stage with Vista students and members, helping to foster friendships and strengthen unity.

About the show

Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with lyrics by Andrew Lippa, The Addams Family is a musical comedy about an eerie American family that asks us to look beyond our differences, in a world where we are so quick to judge others based on what we see as “normal,” in order to recognize the commonalities we all share.

A Shared Stage Productions was founded on the power of common experiences. These productions provide enriching opportunities for people of all abilities and backgrounds to celebrate the performing arts in the community.  The notion of a shared stage comes from focusing on the content and experience of the performing arts, rather than the ability of the individual. Productions include shows by world-renowned performers, professional musicals composed of a cast and crew of all abilities, and showcasing the talents of artists through community-based performances.

Vista’s Mission: Providing services and resources to assist individuals with disabilities achieve personal success.
