The Former Home of Katharine Hepburn, a View from the Fenwick Golf Course

The Borough of Fenwick in the Town of Old Saybrook, Connecticut is world famous because of Katharine Hepburn so it’s no wonder that its 9-hole golf course which runs past the old Hepburn Estate is too. The house in the photo was her place.

There’s a cute article written by Anthony Pioppi on the website www.golfclubatlas.com that you may enjoy reading. It will give you a real sense of the personality of the course that Ms. Hepburn played often. You can’t beat the views from this course of Long Island Sound. This magical place of Fenwick is just a short distance from the Hepburn Theatre.

See you at “The Kate.”

I have been to this golf course once. The place is awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed playing there. Every golf lover must give a visit to that place.

Along with my “cute” article for GolfClubAtas.com, Fenwick has its own chapter in my book, “To the Nines,” which profiles notable and memorable 9-hole golf courses around the country.
