It seems like Katharine Hepburn had a million of them, quotes that is, “hers.” This site www.katharinehepburn.info  is most comprehensive when it comes to those sayings coined by Hepburn. It also has a nice bio on Hepburn and a listing of her films.

One that fits our undertaking of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center is this one; 

“If you survive long enough, you’re revered - rather like an old building.”

The building which will become the Hepburn Center is circa 1910. It was erected about 3 years after Hepburn’s birth. Little did she know that one of her little phrases would one day have so much meaning.
